Tips

• Guide the blade as it retracts: do not let it snap back, because the hook's impact wears it and can throw off the tip.

• Keep the blade clean and dry; if it gets wet, dry it before retracting it to prevent rust.
• Do not bend the blade sharply or step on it: it gets creased and loses stiffness.
• Watch the blade edges when retracting it: they are metal and can cut.
