Tips

• Use dry, filtered air, with a pressure regulator and water trap between the compressor and the gun.
• Thin the paint as directed by its manufacturer and strain it before pouring it into the cup.
• Test the pattern on cardboard or paper before painting the part and adjust it with the knobs.
• Paint at a constant distance with parallel, overlapping passes.
• Wash the gun with the right solvent for the paint as soon as you finish; dried paint clogs the nozzle.
